The Basics of Watercolor

This course will span 6 sessions through the fall and give even the novice indepth instruction in the art of watercolor painting. Instructor and local artist, Diana Jessee, has had watercolor ornaments displayed on the White House Christmas tree and has illustrated children’s books. Her murals can be seen in various locations across Southwest Virginia.

Materials that are provided for the class are: artist quality paints, paper to complete two paintings over the series of classes, and other needed supplies. Watercolor brushes can be purchased for a $10 brush fee.  All levels and interests are welcomed.

Tuition: $49 plus $10 brush fee
