Technology @ Work

Today’s professionals are inundated with new technology. This workshop will share tips to help professionals navigate today’s most popular technologies and integrate technology into the workplace.

Participants will learn to use online collaboration tools such as Dropbox, Skydrive, and Zoho project.  Instructor David Hite will share strategies for virtual meetings.  Participants will acquire techniques to keep in touch will clients and customers through customer relationship management tools.  Participants will learn to leverage smart-phones and tablet computers to improve effectiveness and efficiency in a cloud-based environment.  The workshop will demonstrate software and hardware tools to create and manage online content for blogs, website, Youtube channel or Facebook page.

Instructor David Hite has more than 10 years of professional consulting and training experience in the areas of Human Resources, eCommerce, Training, and Instructional Technologies.  He also presents on a wide range of topics such as communications, new media, instructional accessibility, and online learning.  Hite serves as an adjunct professor at Virginia Intermont College and East Tennessee State University.
