Performance Management and Coaching

Improving confidence and effectiveness of employees requires a skilled coach. This program provides managers, supervisors, and team leaders’ skills and techniques for coaching for peak performance. High Impact activities and role plays are a key component of this program, and will guide participants to build positive, trusting relationships with team members. Participants will learn to maximize team member performance by using highly effective coaching skills and learn effective performance metrics.

Instructor Shannon Blevins serves as Director of Economic Development for the University of Virginia’s College at Wise. As a Southwest Virginia native with broad experience working with new and expanding businesses, Blevins leads the College’s economic outreach efforts. As part of her role, Blevins also serves as the Executive Director for the Southwest Virginia Technology Development Center in Lebanon, Virginia. She is an accomplished instructor, consultant and former director of customer service/operations.
