Managing Generations

Today one of the most important “differences” in the workplace is generational. For the first time in history, there are four generations in America’s  workforce. Each generation has a unique perspective on how their work life fits in with  their personal life and how they approach their colleagues and clients.

Many companies are experiencing challenges related to generational issues that keep their team from performing at its optimal level. This workshop will explain the different sets of expectations for each generation and illustrate techniques to bridge the generational gap within your company.

In particular, the workshop will identify why employers should care about multiple generations in the workplace, the myths about the different generation groups, the four different generation groups, as well as their characteristics/personality traits. The workshop also explores the recruitment, training, management, retention, and communication issues among the generations.
