UVa-Wise may invoice upon request. The SVTDC reserves the right to refuse any admission to any registrant that has not made payment arrangements by the start of class.

Cancellation

Registrants must cancel at least five days before a scheduled event in order to receive a full refund or a training voucher for the amount paid that can be redeemed for future training at SVTDC. Registrants that cancel four days or less before the first day of the class will receive a training voucher in the amount paid to be used for future training at the SVTDC. In order to receive a refund or training voucher, the SVTDC must be notified in writing of the cancellation either by fax or email. In the event that a registrant does not show for class or fails to notify of cancellation, the registrant will be may receive a training voucher only as approved by the Executive Director.

Inclement Weather

In the case of inclement weather, the Southwest Virginia Technology Development Center will abide by the delay/cancellation schedule of Southwest Virginia Community College for open enrollment programs. In the case of reserved meeting space, the Executive Director will work with clients on an individual basis to determine if weather conditions necessitate canceling events. The policy can be found at http://www.sw.edu/policies/weather_policy.htm. Registrants are urged to take every precaution in inclement weather situations and to not put themselves at risk to reach a SVTDC program.
